Our annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Conference took place at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center on March 22, 2023. The Let’s Do It Together Foundation gathered DEI subject matter experts, as well as key community stakeholders and local government officials, in an educational opportunity to address diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives outlined in the Sanford Equity Task Force report.
Our conference promoted the values of diversity and inclusion in hiring and promotion in both the private and public sector. It provided organizations an opportunity to learn more about building organizational capacity so that employers have the competencies and resources to promote diversity and inclusion.
This special event encouraged employers to commit to the adoption of values that prevent bias in hiring and promotion. Through using racial equity tools for policy and process decision making such as GARE, attendees will be better equipped to make equitable decisions in their work.

Our DEI Conferences are designed to serve HR managers, supervisors, team leaders, educators, social workers, religious/community leaders, business owners & operators in the region, as well as representatives from city, county and state government agencies.
